A very successful weekend at MODA

For those who are in the trade, we can say without any doubt at all that MODA in general was dead for special occasion-wear. In fact it was quiet all round really.
However those we did manage to lure onto the stand, where we were showing the ongoing Antonio D'Errico special occasion collections and the new autumn day-wear styles, were mightily impressed with what they saw.
Long time favourites from the special occasion section sold well as did some others that we thought may not capture the imagination.

The silver suit together with the lovely green and navy double collar style below were both winners.

The best of them all though was the coat and dress in a lovely delicate pink with silver threads. Shown below in the other colour option of delicate lemon.

The new autumn collection was really being shown in the wrong exhibition section so didn't attract much attention as no-one who was looking for that sort of fashion came to the special occasion area. However we did get sales from ladies who were knocked out at the styling. The collection will be offered around shops to view during the remainder of the spring and summer.

It's early days for us with the collections from Antonio but we now know of his passion for excellence and fine couterie. He is dedicated to bring the country alive with his designs and I'm sure he'll do it in a very short time.
I will be putting a lot of his autumn styles on my website in due course so pop across to view them. Give it a week or so though as I'm on the road for a few days showing at the Place Aparthotel in Manchester on Sunday 22nd Feb and Monday 23rd.

Now, the season is still young but I know from speaking with shop owners at the show that some are getting low on styles. We can fill the gap with styles from all of the collections we handle. Most can be delivered within 28 days, and some even as early as a week.

A new collection is on its way to me right now from Unottavo which I hope to have at Manchester. I introduced it to my blog earlier but it's now coming over so it's exciting times again.

If you're a retailer I look forward to seeing you at Manchester or at your own shop by appointment, and if you're an end customer then please let me guide you to the nearest stockist. To view the collections please drop into the website itself from here.
